He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Ross and Naomi Ross; his uncle Dean; his aunt Peggy; his sister Marilyn Svendsen; his brother-in-law Jim Svendsen; his nephew Bo Fuks; and his great grandchild Zander.

He is survived by: his wife Edith Dillard; his son Mark (Tracey); his stepdaughter Deborah (Scott); his sister Jacquie (Lauren); and his nephews, Chris Svendsen and Cody Fuks. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Pequot Baptist Church.
