It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John McPherson (Bayport, Minnesota), who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Jack McPherson; his parents, R. G. McPherson and Louise McPherson; his siblings-in-law, Nancy McPherson, Bud Nelson, Larry Nelson, Keith Schmidt and Pat Schmidt; Robert McPherson.
He is survived by: his daughter Sara; his son-in-law Ron Carlson; his grandchildren, Matthew Carlson (Kaleena), Kristina Carlson, Kathryn Carlson, Casey Carlson, Alex McPherson, Colin McPherson (Paz) and Brenna Robinson (Nick); and his close friends, Paul and Shari Jorgenson. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
