He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Findlay and Hazel Findlay (Mitchell); his former wife Eleanor Hansen; his son Glenn Findlay; his siblings, Marjorie Smith (Jack), Darrel Findlay and Joseph Jr. Findlay (Shirley); his brother-in-law Tom Siefert; and his son-in-law Allen Boyum.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Cox (Iverson) of Beardsley, MN; his children, Jean Boyum of Battle Lake, MN, Mark Findlay (Carol) of Beardsley, MN and Dale Findlay of Eagan, MN; his grandchildren, Mitchell Findlay (Christa), Nicholas Findlay (Shantelle), Lucas Findlay (Kayla), Katie Johnson (Brandon), Aaron Boyum (Danae O'Brien), Brett Boyum (Erica) and Kristin Boyum; and his sister Gloria Seifert of Waco, TX. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
