He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Schroeder and Helen Schroeder (Harding); his former wife Rose Abbink; and his granddaughter Riley. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Meyer; his children, Les Schroeder and Lisa Kauk (Tim); his stepson Jason (Caitlin); and his son Dale (Brenda). He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren and 7 Great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Avera Breast Center - Prairie Center in Sioux Falls.
