David left this world on November 21, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gronert and Adeline Gronert (Myhre); and his sisters, Sandy Bacher and Linda Bradley. He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his children, Tracy Botten (Eric) of New Brighton and David Gronert (Theresa) of St. Paul; his stepchildren, Jacob Zindler of Boyceville, WI and Angela Hart (Tom) of Foreston; and his brother Doug Gronert (Marilyn) of Fridley. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
