He was predeceased by: his parents, George Brunn and Gertrude Brunn (Kaproth); his son Kevin Brunn; his grandson Joe Brunn; his daughter-in-law Kelly Brunn; and his brother Ken Brunn.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Brunn (Jackels); his children, Randy Brunn (Patty) of Rogers, Greg Brunn of Wooster, Linda Maegi (Ralph) of Otsego and Steve Brunn (Carla) of Sauk Centre; his grandchildren, Katelyn Dehn (Alex), Heather Aldridge (Tyler), Samantha Brunn, Matthew Brunn, Lia Alseth (Logan), Coleman Maegi (Olivia Lehrer), Alex Brunn (Abby Jacobs) and Marcus Brunn (Kelli); and his siblings, Marcie Trainor, Rosanne Trettel (Ron), Richard Brunn (Phyllis), Leonard Brunn (Millie), Dave Brunn (Marcia), Herb Brunn (Mary), Mary Kay Glover (Chuck), Ron Brunn (Della), Mike Brunn (Sue), Dan Brunn and Tom Brunn (Carrie). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, and many, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Visitation (440 Lake St N, Big Lake, MN 55309). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Sharing and Caring Hands of Minneapolis or Pregnancy Resource Center of St. Cloud.
