He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Barr and Ilamae Barr (Jerue); and his wife Judy Benson. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Craig Sherwood (Sarah) of Sauk Rapids and Tammy Leonard (Patrick) of Pompano Beach, FL; his stepgrandchildren, Henry, Lydia, Ezra, Zachary and Samantha; his great grandchildren, Edward III and Elijah; and his sister Mary Chalmers (Edward).
