She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Hartwig and Verna Fountain; her husband Doug; her son Justen; her sister Gayle Pringle; and her stepmother Elaine Hartwig.

She is survived by : her pet Toby; her sons, Matt (Heidi) of Becker and Troy (Pam) of Becker; her siblings, Marcia Hartwig (Michael Schmidt) of Monticello, Kris Paumen (Mark) of Monticello and Roger Hartwig (Terri) of Princeton; her half-sister Beverly Peterson (Art) of Big Lake; her stepbrother Rich Rowland (Tracy) of Monticello; and her grandchildren, Cody, Tanner, Amara, Brady and Bryce. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred to the ALS Association or Hennepin County Medical Center.
