He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Gulbranson and Hazel Gulbranson; his son Wayne; his son-in-law Kevin Alinder; his brother Marvin; his sister-in-law Glenyce Gulbranson; his sister Lois; and his brother-in-law Clifford Young.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Emerson; his children, Cheryl M. Alinder of Willmar, Carol Ryks (Don) of Kandiyohi, Gary Gulbranson (Jodie) of Willmar, Bradley Gulbranson (Theresa) of New London and Shari Keller (Allen) of Belgrade; and his sisters, Deloris Ruhl (Milo) and Doris Howard (Jim). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
