With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joshua Prentice of Belgrade, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 27, 2025 at the age of 53. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Jeris Van Den Berg (Christensen); and his stepfather Stan Van Den Berg. He is survived by: his father Larry Prentice; his children, Ashley (Jordan Bouwman) of Belgrade, Aaron Prentice (Erin) of Atwater and Austin Prentice (Ashtynne) of Hawick; his grandchildren, Logan, Noah, Miles, Brynlee, Harper and Brielle; and his siblings, James Prentice of Belgrade, Ellarry Prentice of Sauk Rapids and Mary Jo Lamb of Hector. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, take a drive down a country road, help someone in need, play a country song, cook a good supper in the Crockpot, wear cowboy boots, and always tell the truth.
