He was predeceased by: his parents, Doug Giles and Olivia Giles. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Evelyn Schmidt; his children, Dallas Giles (Michele), Sara Thomas (Ryan) and Dustin Giles (Brittany); his grandchildren, Addisyn, Morgan, William, Elouise, Margaret, Clara Giles, Evelyn, Harrison, Griffin Thomas, Lincoln, Magnus and Sawyer Giles; and his siblings, Betty Sprow (Jim), Dale Giles, Wanda Savage (Tim), Shelly Dvorak (Dan) and Doug Giles.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be donated to St. John the Baptist Catholic School in Jordan in honor of Alan.
