It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Ann Schmidt of Belle Plaine, Minnesota, who passed away on September 24, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her stepfather Artie Schmidt; her sister Mary; her daughter Ann; and her friends, Evelyn Mueller, Shirley Karg and Rita Savage.
She is survived by: her husband Erwin R. Schmidt; her brother Paul; and her brother-in-law James Rivard of New Jersey. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, & 47 great-grandchildren.
