He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Scherber and Rosemary Scherber (Smisek); and his nephew Logan Borchardt. He is survived by: his sister Suzie Borchardt (Brad); his nieces and nephews, Haley Hoskins (Brandon), Dillan Borchardt, Blaine Borchardt, Alexander Borchardt and Brenda Barlage; his children, Angela Florea (Mitch), Tammy Fahey, Jessica Barlage (Drew Neville) and Nickolas Barlage (Ashley); and his grandchildren, Yesenia (Cody), Mariana, Eliza, Rheaya, Ava, Madelyn, Lyla, Leo, Aiden and Addy. He is also survived by his family, his friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 117 W Main St, Belle Plaine, MN 56011.
