She was predeceased by : her parents, Urban Hessian and Mabel Hessian; her siblings, James Hessian (Rita) and Georgia Ann Hessian; and her nephew Jay Hessian (Lori).

She is survived by : her brother Roger Hessian; her nephew Dave Hessian; her nieces, Paula Dinndorf (Bob), Mary DesLauriers (Rick), Joan Hessian and Amy Ammann (Mike); and her cousin Roseanne Halloran. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and their children, countless relatives, friends, co-workers.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Prairie Catholic Church - Belle Plaine (200 E Church St, Belle Plaine, MN 56011). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Catherine University, Marguerite Hessian Nursing Endowed Scholarship Fund.
