He was predeceased by: his parents, Johan and Dorothy; his daughter Christine Carey; his son-in-law Chad Feltmann; and his sisters, Carol Buesgens and Joan Schultz.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy; his children, Johan "Jeff" (Ann), Paul (Sherry), Cara Feltmann and Jenifer Moseman (Bruce); his grandchildren, Ashley, Alex, Andrew, Victoria, Josh, Jared, Lauren, Chloe, Carly and Lily; his great grandchildren, Jadyn, Julissa, Miles, Jack, Tatum, Cooper and Nora; his sister Lynette Heitkamp (Erv); and his brother-in-law Maynard Schultz.
