It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Zabel of Belle Plaine, Minnesota, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Gilbert Werner and Eleanora Werner (Schroeder); her siblings, Shirley Anklam of Mankato, Lila Martin of Tucson, AZ and Darrel (Judy Werner); and her sister-in-law Lois Harens (Les Bening) of Arlington.

She is survived by : her husband Donald of Belle Plaine; and her children, Dennis Zabel (Deeann Sparks) of Peru, IN, Debra (Dan Haas), Melanie (Carl Hallin) and Natalie (Roger Paul). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (500 W Church St, Belle Plaine, MN 56011). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church (500 W Church St, Belle Plaine, MN 56011).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Jude.
