He was predeceased by: his children, Robert Sander and Patty Arnold; his grandson Brandon Sander; his great grandchild Jaden Sander; his siblings, Orris Sander, Alvin Sander and Amy Werner; and his in-laws, Nellie Sander, LaVonne Sander, Robert Werner and Bruce Huntemann.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Sander; his daughters, Vicky Kuehn (Marvin) of Redwood Falls, Cheri Fern of St. Cloud, Rose Jackson (Michael) of Belview and Mary Schwaegerl (Tim) of Brookings, SD; and his children-in-law, Kathy Sander of Redwood Falls and Doug Arnold of Brandon. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church (101 E St Olaf Ave, Belview, MN 56214). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
