He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Platt; his children, Joy Helmer (Greg), Wayne Platt and Randy Platt (Sara); his siblings, Jim Platt, Ila Hanson and Shelly Barlow; his grandchildren, Josh Helmer, Brian Platt, Kristy Platt, Rachael Bauman (Michael), Rylie Platt (Brandon Calverley) and Sam Platt; his great grandchildren, Jacob Fischer (Shania) and Jonna Seifert; and his great great grandchild Avery Branchaud.
