It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Allen Lee Evans of Bemidji, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Evans and Melba Evans; his former wife Alvina Evans; his daughters, Anne, Kathy and Mary; his brother-in-law Jim Williams; his grandson Scott Evans; and his son-in-law John McFarland.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Ann; his daughter Sharline McFarland (Evans); his grandchildren, Jesse, Justin, Michelle and Rebecca; and his siblings, Jane Williams of Fayetteville and Robert Evans of Fargo, ND.. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Allen cared a great deal for his community and others and donated to several charities throughout his life.
