It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Chad Castonguay (Bemidji, Minnesota), who passed away on November 18, 2021, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Duane Castonguay; his grandparents, Juel Elton, Walter Castonguay, Charles Cassady and Virginia Castonguay; his uncle Kevin Cassady; and his cousin Nicholas.

He is survived by: his mother Kathy Juel Elton; his grandmother Rosemarie Cassady; his children, Dylan Castonguay, Cade Castonguay, Aubrianna Castonguay and Kaos "Goober" Castonguay; his siblings, Travis Castonguay (Bridget), Brandon Castonguay and Kallie Castonguay; his siblings' children, Travis Castonguay, Jr., Braden Castonguay, Briar Castonguay, Brody Castonguay, Emma Hannu and Gage Klasen; his close friend Jeremiah Johnson; and the mother of his child Melissa Olson. He is also survived by his siblings, children, and mother.
