It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darwin Herman Kewitsch of Bemidji, Minnesota, who passed away on May 1, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Kewitsch and Millie Kewitsch (Larson); his brothers, Morris and Allen Kewitsch; his son Kevin Moose; and his nephew David.
He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Blegen of Bemidji; his children, Danny Kewitsch (BobbieJo), Tracy Moose and Jenny Buchholz; his grandchildren, Sebastian, Anna, Ezra, Cruz, Everlee, Sierra, Kayla, Aaron and Megan; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Kewitsch of Aitkin, Judy Kewitsch of Aitkin, Pam Price of Aitkin, Bunny Dotzler of Aitkin and Darla Blegen of Aitkin. He is also survived by Great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at 20 1st Ave NE, Aitkin, MN 56431.
