She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Knudson and Ina Elvira Knudson (Quammen); her son Jay Allen; and her siblings, Jean, Edward and Curtis.

She is survived by: her former husband John Arnold Aakhus (Jack) of Bemidji, MN; her children, Jeffrey John, James Edward (Jim), Pamela Jo and Gregory David Lars; her husband William Earl Easton (Bill); and her son Erik William.
