With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dwight Gerald Knute of Bemidji, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dwight left this world on May 31, 2025 at the age of 79, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Knute and Pearl Knute (Hill); his nephew Lance Knute; and his adoptive son Steven Daken. He is survived by: his children, Debra, Shannon, Cassandra and Sky; his wife Karen Knute; his stepchildren, Quinton, Alysha, Melissa and Carl; his grandchildren, Taylor, Alexis, Kirrianna, Lily and Jax; his great grandchild Piper; and also, Jeremy Platt, Rick and Leona Winters. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Eagles Club (1270 Neilson Ave SE, Bemidji, MN 56601).
