With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eric Ekstam Lund of Bemidji, Minnesota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by : his parents, Gene Lund and Louise Lund (Ekstam); and his aunts, Mary and Diane. He is survived by : his wife Danae Beattie; his children, Ethan, Anna and Britta; his brothers, John (Diana), Rolf (Lisa), Victor and Nathan; his parents-in-law, Dean and Donna Beattie; his brother-in-law Daniel Beattie; his close friends, Roger Avelsgaard and Barbara Maas; and also, Matthew, Kim, Alycia, Brandon, Dan, Anders, Blake, Karissa, Destani, Karson, Demetri, Ryan, Jason, Jonah, Cecelia, Jaelyn, Ava and Sammy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church (1800 Irvine Ave NW, Bemidji, MN 56601).

The family prefers memorials to be directed to Hospice, Bemidji State University student scholarships, or Saint Bartholomew's Episcopal Church.
