It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eric Thorsgard of Bemidji, Minnesota, who passed away on July 8, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Eric Thorsgard to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Thorsgard and Ina Thorsgard (Sundquist); and his close friend Tony Brosseau. He is survived by: his son Tragg; his grandchildren, Haakan and Brekt; his children, Aksel, Erin and Rava (Pixie); his wife Gerri; and his siblings, Knute (Nancy) of Detroit Lakes and Kyja (Dan Wold) of Denver, CO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He had unbridled curiosity for everything and was known for his inventive spirit, even winning the Northwest MN Foundation Idea Competition in 2009.
