It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Mary Dexter of Bemidji, Minnesota, born in Stephen, Minnesota, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Lillegaard and Esther Lillegaard (Johnson); her husband Charles "Harpo" Dexter; her siblings, Audrey Bye, Herb Lillegaard and James Lillegaard; and her half-brother Eric Thorson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Molly Dexter of Menomonie and Mary Schlaeppi of Slidell, Louisiana; and her grandchildren, Paula Schlaeppi, Diana Scoggins, Melanie Thomas, Brent Schlaeppi and Zachary Thompson. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
