He was predeceased by: his wife Mildred Langerak (Evans); and his brothers, Edward and Gordon. He is survived by: his children, Lavonne Sullivan (Tim), Loren Langerak (Kristi), Lanette Anderson (Jon) and Luke Langerak (Lacey); his grandchildren, Michael Sullivan, Kyla Hannem (Brady), Kate Langerak, Nathan Anderson (Aurora), Evan Langerak and Aaron Langerak; his great grandchildren, Mason and Blake Hannem; and also Joan Allen.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvary Lutheran Church (2508 Washington Ave S, Bemidji, MN 56601). A memorial service was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at the Aardahl Lutheran Cemetery (2920 Van Buren Ave SE, Bemidji, MN 56601).
