We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2023 we had to say goodbye to James Ray Gildersleeve of Bemidji, Minnesota, born in Hartington, Nebraska. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted R. Gildersleeve and Agnes Gildersleeve (Giddings); his siblings, Marilyn Hegert and Dan Gildersleeve; and his son-in-law Dan Goodman.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Hubert; his daughters, Renee Axtman (James) of Grand Forks, ND, Pamela Francisco (Michael) of Effie, MN and Debra Goodman of St. Louis Park, MN; his grandchildren, Braden, Derek, Tyler Axtman (Maddie), Keegan, Phelan Porter, McKayla Francisco, Emily Kurtz (Calvin) and Kayla Torgerson; his sisters, Denise McFarland (Butch) of Bloomfield, NE and Vicki Golda (Dave) of Gretna, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Ray Hegert of Lincoln, NE and Sharon Gildersleeve of Hartington, NE. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, many other family members and friends, including 28 foster children.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been designated for St Mark Lutheran Church and nursing scholarships thru Sanford Health Foundation.
