He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Hilliard and Cecelia Hilliard (Emerson); and his sisters, Jean Rust and Judith Rust. He is survived by: his children, Chari LaDuke-Clark (Shane) of Bemidji, MN, Janice Mason (Erik) of Apple Valley, MN and Kenneth Cole Luzius of Bemidji, MN; his grandchildren, Chenoa, Austen, Ma'Riyah, Kate, Ben, Landen and Azaeleah; and his siblings, Roger Hilliard, Ruth Schlinsog, Ina Everly, Rod Hilliard, Richard Hilliard, Joni Hilliard and Cindy Hilliard. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the White Earth Family Center (217 2nd St NW, Cass Lake, MN 56633).
