He was predeceased by: his parents, John Petrie and Myrtle Petrie (Webster); his wife Beverly A. Berg; and his sister Darlene Johnson. He is survived by: his son Rodney John Petrie (Connie); his grandsons, Dawson Petrie (Genna), Phillip Petrie (Isabelle) and Ben Petrie; his brother-in-law Donald Johnson; his niece Jayne Johnson; and his nephew Terry Johnson. He is also survived by numerous other brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews on his wife.
