He is survived by: his significant other Dawn Carpenter; his sons, Michael McDermott II, Ramon McDermott, Manly McDermott and Zachary McDermott; his granddaughter Amara Dellarosa Michaud; and his siblings, Katie McDermott, Jeannie Dahlberg, Nason McDermott, Darren Carpenter, Jamie, Glime, Trish Haglund-Hunter, Tim "Shum" Schummer, Tony Kuter and Whitney Celes.
