With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Olive Sperling of Bemidji, Minnesota, who passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Hennager and Nettie Hennager (Dale); her siblings, Virgil, John, George, Edna and Christine; her husband James Sperling; her daughter Joyce Hoffman; and her grandsons, Brandon Reese and Chad Westrum.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Barcus (Kent) of Bemidji, MN and Duane Reese (Wendy). She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; 6 Great Great Grandchildren and many neices and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home (3330 Irvine Ave NW, Bemidji, MN 56601). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at the Clearwater Lutheran Cemetery.
