He is survived by: his wife Ardis Hofstad of Bemidji; his children, Benji Hofstad (Lisa) of Bemidji, Darrin Hofstad (Andrea) of Grand Rapids, MN and Kelli Jo Nelson (Jason) of Shakopee, MN; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Bo, Halle, Caden, Liv, Nina Hofstad, Elijah and Melayna Jo Nelson.
