He is survived by: his grandchildren, Karissa, Ethan, Tyler, Brielle and Kaliyah; his wife Janice Schauls; and his children, Jeff (Brooklyn Center), Joseph Christiansen (Sarah) of Larimore, ND, Cory (Bemidji) and Chad (Bemidji).
