He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Johnson and Nora Johnson; his wife Mary Ellen; his brother Eldon; and his daughter Katherine.

He is survived by: his children, Gary Johnson (Sharon) and Marjorie Smith (John). He is also survived by neighbor friends.
