She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Gravdahl and Amanda Gravdahl; her former husband Harland Lillquist; and her sisters, Arla Bollig and Joan Yalch.
She is survived by: her children, Renee Lukkason (Bobby) and Steve Lillquist (Ardell); her stepdaughters, Katie Kincs (Dave) and Becky Brown (Tom); her grandchildren, Ryan of Bemidji, Mackenzie Piprude of Bemidji, Marissa Lillquist of Bemidji, Beau Brown (Tera) of Bemidji, Iann Brown of Bemidji and Terra Kincs of Shakopee; and her sisters, Jean Smith of Brainerd, Glenda Schmidt of Pequot Lakes and Marie Engle of Chandler, AZ. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In later years, the couple moved back to the farm in Guthrie followed by Ruth transitioning to assisted living due to her advancing Parkinson's Disease.
