He is survived by: his children, Daniel Balcer (Stacy) of Laporte and Alicia Burgoon (Jake) of Bemidji; and his siblings, Rodney Balcer (Carol) of Bemidji, Brad Balcer (Dawn) of Cass Lake, Jerome Balcer of Bemidji, Gloria Sundvall (Dale) of Bemidji and Val Pollock (Brian) of Bemidji. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
