“Shirley was my Drexel classmate and teammate on Drexel's 1st Concrete Canoe Team. She was smart, very hard working, and had a great sense of humor when she wasn't highly absorbed in the task at hand. We lost contact after our 1973 graduation but we reconnected in 2022 and corresponded regularly until a few weeks ago. Despite her ailments, Shirley was tough and never complained. Her passing is so sad and unexpected; miss her already. My sincere condolences to Jeff and the entire Lentz family.”
