Terry Hegna Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2020, at the age of 73, Terry Hegna (Bemidji, Minnesota), born in Austin, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Hegna and Viola Hegna; his siblings, Darla Hegna, Moon Hegna, Denny Hegna and Butch Hegna; and his son Terry Hegna.

He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Hegna; his sister Joy Butler (John); his children, Shawna Swenson (Jeremy), Wes Hegna (Tessa), Mary Hegna (Chuck) and Harlan Hegna (Tina); and his grandchildren, Chandler, Angel, Jordan, Maddie, Wyatt, Liv, Max, Harper, Aubree, Hudson, Harrison, Scarlett, Vivienne, Calvin and Dalton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Bemidji Lumberjack Football program in his name. Donations can be sent to the families home at 24651 470th Street Laporte, MN 56461.

Donnie had so so many wonderful adventures with Terry, they were such close friends, Donnie will truly miss him, although we know he is in a much better place and our memories of him will never leave our heart and minds.
