He is survived by: his children, Kelvin Smith (Paula), Roger Smith, Delores Aldinger (Jeff) and Les Smith (Vicky); his grandchildren, Brian Smith (Molly), Kyle Smith (Rachel), Ashley, Nick Aldinger, Quentin and Marshall Smith; his great grandchildren, Kailee, Jaxon Smith and Addie Smith; his siblings-in-law, Blanche Smith, Dexie Smith, Doris Thorson, Lila Bruun, Marie Porter (Mike) and Robert Burr (Audrey); and his siblings, John, Walt, Jim, George, Margaret, Dorothy, Alice and Eva. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church, Bemidji or Sanford Bemidji Hospice.
