With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Frederick Tolman of Bemidji, Minnesota, born in Saint Cloud, Minnesota, who passed away on October 25, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas W Tolman and Judith Schmitt Tolman; his wife Elaine; his grandson Geoffrey Andersen; his nieces, Mary Helland and Judith Helland; and his brothers-in-law, Jack Gausman and Phill Helland.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Tolman, Richard Tolman (Chris), Jean Gearman-Tolman, Robert Tolman (Pat Bilek) and Donna Andersen (Rick); his siblings, Ruth Helland (Tolman) and Charles Tolman (Charlene); and his close friend Judith Dawson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer that donation be made in Tom's honor to Hillsdale College, the Tunnels to Towers organization, or your local library.
