She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Tranby and Bessie Tranby (Thornton); her husband Melvin Ward; her granddaughter Melissa Ward; and her son-in-law Jerry Whitney.
She is survived by: her children, Carlyn Whitney (Jerry), Lee Ward (Laura), Steve Ward (Roselyn), Stanley Ward, Gerald Ward (Melody) and Roger Ward; and her grandchildren, Christy, Ryan, Terri, Brent, Leora, Lynette, Brad, Cholice, Catherine, Ben, Kai, Crystal, Corey and Justin. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
