It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Swingen of Bemidji, Minnesota, born in Cooperstown, North Dakota, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Alanzo Swingen and Jane Swingen (Pellerin); his wife Norma Locklin (Pudgie); his brother Lowell Swingen; and his son Lonnie Swingen.
He is survived by : his children, Erin Dodd (Cliff) of Scottsdale, AZ, Dan Swingen (Heidi), Anthony Swingen and Bemidji; his grandchildren, Ryan Dunphy, Haley Dunphy, Phoenix, Cole Miles, Nicholas Swingen (Jess), Michael and Brooke Kossan Grand (Tylden); and his great grandchildren, Madalynn Reyes, Lilyan Reyes, Phoenix, Elizabeth Swingen, Collette Kossan, Riese Kossan and Audrey Kossan.
