He is survived by: his girlfriend Diane Thompson; his children, Tony Stangel, Mikerra Matthews, Ciara Matthews and Danielle Tibbetts; his sisters, Denise Campbell Matthews, Rhonda Michaud and Janie Armstrong; his niece Noma Stangel; and his grandchildren, Aliyana, Carter Hardy, Carsyn and Mindy Stangel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
