He was predeceased by : his parents, Hans Dahl and Betty Dahl; his siblings, Karen Marshall and Bob Dahl; and his grandson William Brix.

He is survived by : his wife Lynn Dahl; his daughters, Anna Brix (David) and Sara King (Shawn); and his grandchildren, Teddy, Henry, Charlie and Mariana Brix. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
