He is survived by: his wife Joanie Cherne of Big Lake; his children, Amy Pearson (Sean) of Annandale, Heather Miller (Shannon) of Big Lake and Jason Schmidt of Manhattan, MT; his son-in-law Joe O'Neal of Big Lake; his daughter Coline Sacchettini of France; his siblings, Donald Schmidt (Marlene) of Hoffman, Dan Schmidt (Nira) of Oakland, TN, Janet Rosen (Warren) of Vancouver, WA, John Schmidt (Meg) of Fergus Falls and Isabelle Schmidt of St Cloud; and his grandchildren, Colton, Carson, Jasmine, Spencer and Akyah.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers to Gillette Children's Hospital or any other research hospital of your choice.
