He was predeceased by : his parents, Julius and Gladys; and his brother Richard Melchior. He is survived by : his children, Scott Melchior (Terri), Christi Robertson (Pat) and Brian Melchior (Kari Jo). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Palmer Lake VFW (2817 Brookdale Dr, Minneapolis, MN 55444).
