Shawn leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Shawn’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his wife Tanya. He is survived by: his sons, Wyatt and Waylon; his girlfriend Hershey; his close friend Charity Yule; his parents, Maureen Alden and William Alden (Melissa); and his siblings, Sherry Kemmetmueller (Ryan) and Chad Alden (Jennifer). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a growing number of great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saron Lutheran Church (311 Lake St S, Big Lake, MN 55309). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
