He is survived by: his wife Lois Kanz; his children, Matthew and Sarah Koste (Brad); his stepdaughter Lynda Montoya (John); and his siblings, Michael Kanz (Bev), Arthur, Michael Dean (Julia), Tim, Daniel (Jane), Dennis (Karen), Patti Kirk (John), Pam Thompson and Helen Taillefer (Mike).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Marcell Community Church (49103 MN-38, Marcell, MN 56657). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the same location.
