He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dummer and Gertrude Dummer (Posl); his daughter Kristin Hughes (Michael); and his siblings, Jerry, Eddie, Dick, Donnie, Sister Mary Lou, Doug and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Lenore "Lee"; his children, Jeff Dummer (Kathy), Alison Dummer and Melissa Gieseke (Andie); his grandchildren, Brett, Jacob, Karlie Gieseke, Kathryn Piccatto, Caroline Pope, Gabrielle, Christopher Hughes, Alissa Dummer-Simmons and Sam Dummer; his great grandchildren, Porter, Kohen Gieseke, Adree El-Amin and Michael Piccatto III; and his siblings, Roger Dummer and Jan Abraham (Gary).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (220 S 10th St, Bird Island, MN 55310). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Eldy's name may be made to St. Mary's Church or School, P.O. Box 500 Bird Island, MN 55310.
